HeyYou Project – Refund & Exchange Policy

We want every customer to be happy with their purchase, and we stand behind the quality of our products. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help — but as a small business, we have a few guidelines to ensure we can continue offering great products and service.


Returns

  • We accept returns within 30 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We do not provide prepaid return labels.

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.

Example: If you ordered a hoodie, decide you don’t like the fit, and send it back in perfect condition, you’ll get your full purchase price refunded (minus the cost you paid to ship it back).

 


Exchanges

  • Exchanges are free once we receive your item back.

  • Customers are responsible for shipping the product back to us, but we will cover the cost of shipping your new item to you.

Example: You ordered a Medium but want a Large. You ship the Medium back at your expense, and we’ll send you the Large at no extra cost.

 


Incorrect Address Disclaimer

We ship orders exactly as entered at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

  • Please double-check your shipping details before placing your order.

  • If you realize you entered an incorrect address, contact us immediately. If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we will update it for you. Once shipped, we cannot recall the package.

Example: If you accidentally type “124” instead of “142” in your street address and the order is delivered to the wrong house, we cannot issue a refund or replacement.

 


Orders Marked as Delivered

If tracking shows your package as “Delivered” but you did not receive it, please:

  1. Check with neighbors, building management, or anyone else who may have accepted it.

  2. Contact your local post office or carrier with your tracking number.

We are not responsible for packages that are marked as delivered by the carrier but are reported missing. In many cases, these packages are located within a few days.

  • If the package is confirmed lost by the carrier, contact us and we will work with you on next steps.

Example: USPS marks your hoodie as “Delivered,” but you can’t find it. You check with neighbors and your local post office, and they confirm it was delivered to the correct address. In this case, we cannot refund or replace the order as it was successfully delivered.


Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue, and we will replace it at no cost to you.

Example: You receive a hoodie with a printing error or tear. You send us photos within 7 days, and we send you a new one at no cost.


 

Summary

We offer full refunds and free exchanges (customer pays to send items back). We cannot cover return shipping for all orders as a small business, but we will always cover the cost of sending your replacement. We are not responsible for:

  • Incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

  • Orders marked as “Delivered” by the carrier but not received.
